Empower 42 Single Parents to Build a Community Grocery

In San Quintin, Pangasinan, 564 single parents face daily hardships—struggling to provide for their children, afford medicine, and keep their families together. Among them, 42 determined parents have a vision: to establish a community-run grocery store that offers both sustenance and stability.

This store isn’t just about selling goods; it’s about restoring dignity, fostering self-reliance, and creating a support network where single parents uplift one another. By turning their collective dream into reality, they aim to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future for their children.

Your support can transform this vision into a thriving enterprise. Every contribution brings these parents closer to financial independence and a stronger community.

Building a Community Grocery for Single Parents

This initiative seeks to establish a grocery store managed by 42 members of the San Quintin Single Parent Association (SQSPA). With a funding goal of $7,868, the project will cover the setup of the store, procurement of initial inventory, and training for the parent-entrepreneurs. The store will provide affordable, quality goods to the community while generating income for the participating families.

Beyond economic benefits, the store will serve as a hub for mutual support, where single parents can share experiences, resources, and encouragement. By investing in this project, you’re not only aiding in the creation of a sustainable livelihood but also strengthening the fabric of the community.
