Help 76 Ilocano Weavers Preserve Their Craft

In the remote hills of Cervantes, Ilocos Sur, 76 women artisans from the Puso ng Kababaihan and Comillas South Weavers Associations are striving to keep the ancient art of Inabel weaving alive. This traditional craft, passed down through generations, is not only a cultural treasure but also a vital source of income for these families.

However, without proper equipment and training, this heritage faces extinction. The weavers’ looms are deteriorating, and younger generations lack the skills to continue the tradition.

Your support can provide the necessary tools and education to sustain this livelihood. Every contribution helps preserve a rich cultural legacy and empowers these women to build a better future for their families.
