Project Completion Report

The 30-Day School-Based Feeding Program, implemented by the Quirino PPO Ladies Club at Tres Reyes Elementary School, Quirino Province, aimed to combat malnutrition among 22 children aged 2-9 years. With a project cost of Php 121,112.59 ($2,640), the initiative provided nutritious meals, hygiene education, nutrition awareness workshops, and livelihood training for mothers. Key accomplishments include restoring all children’s ideal body weight, improved hygiene practices, enhanced nutrition awareness, and empowering mothers to support long-term healthy lifestyles. Despite challenges such as limited duration and resource constraints, the program’s success, bolstered by community involvement and potential replication by the Department of Education, demonstrates its significant impact and sustainability potential.
