In the heart of Brgy. Bued Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, farmers grappled with soaring prices of seedlings and fertilizers, burdened by debts to kickstart their crops.
With a meager water supply—just one pump for every 10 families—they often crossed streets in scorching summers to fetch water, joining the 3 million Filipinos reliant on precarious water sources. The old, unreliable pump remained their sole lifeline.
Then, Pure Bayanihan arrived, bringing hope. Surveying the community’s needs, they provided essential supplies and new water pumps. Gratitude filled the air as residents received two bags of fertilizers and seedlings, now equipped to tend to their crops.
With the blessings came a revived spirit of bayanihan, uniting the village in a shared commitment to preserve the lifelines they had been given.
